Designed by Nathanael G. Herreshoff and built in Bristol, Rhode Island, NEITH was commissioned in 1907 for Dr. Edward K. Dunham, Herreshoff’s personal physician. Originally launched as a twin-headed gaff-rigged sloop, she was later converted to a yawl for transatlantic voyaging and completed a celebrated crossing to England in 1921. NEITH has remained an active sailing yacht for more than a century and continues to race in classic regattas in New England. Snediker Yacht Restoration has cared for and restored NEITH for many years, including major structural and deck work completed in 2014.
Designed by Sidney DeWolfe Herreshoff and built by The Anchorage in Warren, Rhode Island, ARION was a pioneering fiberglass yacht and is recognized as the first large fiberglass auxiliary sailing yacht built in the United States. Snediker Yacht Restoration undertook a major restoration that included the hull, interior and galley, systems and engine, a new deckhouse, spars, and the fabrication of period-appropriate bronze hardware.
